WHO WE AREA
Verde Landscape Design is a team of talented designers, architectural
technicians, and planting designers.
We love designing green spaces of all styles – contemporary or traditional,
commercial and retail. Our work is predominantly with architects, designers
and developers, as well as private clients. Most of our work is in London
but we also cover Hampshire, Berkshire, and Surrey.
Annie Chapman
My unique perspective comes from 20 years of design experience
(following a BA (hons) in 3-Dimensional design) combined with fifteen
years as a landscape designer. I am passionate about design and creating
the best to suit any given brief. My eye for design and my passion for
horticulture mean I understand how the inside/outside relationship needs
to work to balance a landscape and make the most of natural light and
borrowed views. I have extensive on-site experience of working as a team
with contractors and project managers, so I can do much to ensure
projects are managed smoothly and completed on time, and within budget.
Helene Young
With a background in theatre design and stage management, I bring a
unique 3D vision to landscape design. I include all five senses – sound,
touch and taste as well as sight and smell. I love to use unusual plants that add interest and look amazing, while, of course, offering a practical
solution. My approach is fresh, funky and contemporary. If a landscape is
designed to suit the right brief, it will enhance other buildings and draw you out there!
Karen Llewelyn
I’m a plantaholic landscape gardener, and for 20 years I’ve been mad
about looking after plants, choosing the right varieties and putting them in
the best positions. I know how to help plants thrive, and I can provide
ongoing aftercare manuals and arrange maintenance so that a landscape
stays looking its best.
